Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across Georgia and surrounding regions
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to DOT regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Load/unload cargo securely following company safety protocols
- Manage route optimization and adjust for traffic/weather conditions
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all CDL requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to pass mandatory background check and drug screening
