Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles across Ohio and surrounding states
- Execute pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques and documentation
- Adhere to strict HOS regulations and delivery timeframes
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients for seamless logistics
- Report maintenance issues and participate in preventive programs
- Maintain clean MVR and comply with company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable OTR experience
- Pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in variable weather conditions
- Knowledge of Ohio roadways and regional regulations
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
