Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods throughout Florida and the Southeast
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adapt routes to ensure timely deliveries while prioritizing safety
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with GPS technology
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
