Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated Florida routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes or delivery issues
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all traffic laws
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Florida roadways and DOT regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
