Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated Texas routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Deliver exceptional customer service through timely and professional interactions
- Navigate efficiently using GPS technology while maintaining delivery schedules
- Complete required paperwork including delivery confirmations and incident reports
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Texas roadways and DOT regulations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety excellence
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging device (ELD) operation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overnight routes as needed
