Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local deliveries within Portland and surrounding areas
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage delivery documentation and maintain accurate route logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Familiarity with Portland metro area geography
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends and early mornings
