Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for local and regional deliveries
- Perform thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and California traffic laws
- Load/unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route optimization
- Report vehicle maintenance issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of LA County geography and traffic patterns
- Basic cargo securement and hazmat familiarity preferred
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Physical ability to handle 50+ lb cargo loads
