Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) for local deliveries and short-haul routes
- Maintain meticulous logs and documentation in compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Adhere to all safety protocols and defensive driving practices
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and navigation systems
- Strong knowledge of Texas roadways and traffic regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
