Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local deliveries in Wichita metro
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip logs
- Ensure timely and secure delivery of freight to designated locations
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Assist with loading/unloading when required
- Maintain clean and professional vehicle appearance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Wichita area roadways
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Professional attitude and customer service focus
