Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, flatbeds) within Virginia Beach and surrounding areas
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company policies
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route management
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Virginia traffic laws and DOT regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
