Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, flatbeds) within Miami-Dade County
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries in high-traffic urban areas
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Knowledge of Miami geography and traffic patterns
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for digital logs
- Flexible availability including weekend shifts
