Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, dry vans) for local deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment (pallet jacks, forklift)
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Kansas City metro area
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for delivery apps
- Ability to work flexible shifts (mornings, afternoons, weekends)
