Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods across designated routes in Indiana and surrounding states
- Perform pre-trip inspections, routine maintenance checks, and post-trip documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo efficiently with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and mileage reports
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and route communications
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and problem resolution
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening requirements
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and basic navigation systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment safely
- Strong time management skills with punctuality and route optimization abilities
