Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for local deliveries and route services
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage delivery schedules with GPS navigation and route optimization
- Load/unload cargo using proper material handling techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Document delivery confirmations and handle discrepancies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with San Francisco Bay Area roadways
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside assistance
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
