Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods within El Paso metro area and regional routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and timely deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with El Paso geography and border-crossing procedures
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement and weight distribution
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and operate pallet jacks
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for early morning shifts (5 AM start time)
