Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations using pallet jacks and dollies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Navigate optimized routes using GPS technology
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- 1+ year commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of Georgia roadways and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Willingness to work 3-5 days/week (daytime shifts)
