Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for local/regional freight deliveries
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS, and safety protocols
- Efficiently plan routes using GPS navigation systems
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California roadways and regulations
- Basic navigation and route planning skills
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
