Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for local and regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork in compliance with DOT regulations
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Adapt routes to avoid traffic delays while meeting delivery deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Uphold strict safety standards and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia metro area and surrounding regions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, or evenings (20-30 hours/week)
