Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) within designated DC metro routes
- Load/unload freight with precision using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and local traffic laws
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Familiarity with DC metro navigation and delivery zones
- Basic computer skills for digital logbooks
