Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods across LA County
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route optimization and timely deliveries
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members
- Report maintenance issues and contribute to fleet safety initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of LA traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with GPS technology
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Professional communication and customer service skills
