Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods within Columbus metro area and surrounding regions
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies at all times
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and maintain electronic logs
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries while prioritizing safety
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and delays
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Columbus area roads and traffic patterns
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging and documentation
