Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations within specified timeframes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation using our digital tracking system
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve delivery inquiries
- Adhere strictly to traffic regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and ensure timely deliveries
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments when required
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of local Washington, IL area and surrounding regions
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficient with GPS navigation and basic smartphone applications
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to and from work location
