Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and heavy equipment safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Ensure timely delivery of cargo while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery times, cargo weight, and mileage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedule changes or delays.
- Load and unload freight using proper equipment and techniques to prevent damage.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
