Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery trucks and vans on local and regional routes.
- Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks and hand trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards.
- Verify delivery documents and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience in a commercial environment.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic knowledge of map reading and GPS navigation.
