Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to deliver goods to designated locations in Orlando and surrounding Georgia areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any maintenance issues.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring all items are accounted for and protected from damage.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, handling disputes or questions professionally.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized to maintain a professional image.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current DOT Medical Card and Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (clean driving record required).
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Willingness to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
