Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class A or B CDL) on assigned routes in the Memphis area.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are handled with care and properly secured.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, bills of lading, and delivery receipts.
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery issues on-site.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic English proficiency for communication.
- Willingness to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.
