What You'll Do
As a Part-Time Delivery Driver, your primary focus will be on the timely and safe transport of freight to local customers across the Cleveland area.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A or B vehicles in all weather conditions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight safely, ensuring cargo security during transit.
- Deliver products to customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork (BOLs, manifests).
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local geography in White County and surrounding areas.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine vehicle checks.
- Ability to lift and move freight weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
