Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (tractors/trailers) on assigned routes
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Deliver goods to industrial, retail, and distribution centers on schedule
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate delivery status and resolve route disruptions proactively
- Maintain clean driving record and zero-tolerance policy for violations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with current medical certification
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Knowledge of Louisiana roadways and industrial zones
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for early morning/weekend shifts
- DOT physical and drug test clearance required
