Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight over designated routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance records
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Manage delivery schedules and communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Handle loading/unloading operations with proper equipment handling techniques
- Document delivery exceptions and provide customer service support
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all licensing requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification and ability to pass background check
- Knowledge of Maryland roadways and commercial vehicle regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities and customer service mindset
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
