Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight on designated routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections, maintenance checks, and basic troubleshooting
- Accurately complete delivery documentation and electronic logging
- Adapt routes efficiently to meet delivery timelines and customer needs
- Maintain clean, organized vehicle appearance and compliance with DOT regulations
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, clients, and warehouse teams
- Handle unloading/loading operations when required at delivery sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and delivery documentation
- Strong knowledge of Milwaukee metropolitan area roadways
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
