Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver time-sensitive freight to Bay Area locations
- Maintain meticulous logs and comply with all DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes to ensure on-time performance and fuel efficiency
- Handle secure cargo documentation and verify delivery accuracy
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Strong knowledge of San Jose Bay Area geography and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment safely
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements
