Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional deliveries across the Charlotte metropolitan area
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT-compliant logs
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and secure cargo according to safety standards
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals while adhering to schedule constraints
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve inquiries professionally
- Adhere to all federal/state regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route status and potential delays
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Charlotte-area roadways and regional distribution hubs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment safely
- Strong time-management and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging systems
- Reliable transportation to/from distribution center
