Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Maintain strict compliance with DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and accurately maintain vehicle documentation
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes for efficiency while adhering to time constraints
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes or delays
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Strong knowledge of Tampa Bay area roads and delivery zones
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS systems
- Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
