Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safely operate commercial vehicles within local and regional routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of materials.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Must possess a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties as required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-service oriented attitude.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends as needed.
