Responsibilities
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR) and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Navigate delivery routes efficiently to meet scheduled deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B.
- Must have a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to lift and handle cargo weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
