Responsibilities
- Operate a 26ft box truck safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight securely using proper equipment.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while interacting with customers.
- Complete and submit delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B is preferred but not mandatory for independent owner operators.
- Must own a reliable, well-maintained box truck (minimum 26ft).
- Valid DOT medical card and current commercial insurance.
- At least 2 years of driving experience in a similar vehicle.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
