Responsibilities
- Safely load, secure, and transport cargo to designated locations within the Miami metropolitan area.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the box truck is in optimal condition.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws, including speed limits and right-of-way rules.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and communicate any delays or issues immediately to dispatch.
- Provide excellent customer service during loading and unloading processes.
- Keep the truck's interior and exterior clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Must own a 26ft box truck or similar vehicle suitable for local hauling.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class B) is preferred but not always required for local moves.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Current commercial auto insurance coverage.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs (depending on cargo).
