Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local deliveries within 50-mile radius of Charlotte
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic manifests
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimal routing and scheduling
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Secure cargo and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Manage timely pickup and drop-off of goods at client locations
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year box truck operation experience
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability)
- Reliable 24-26ft box truck in good mechanical condition
- Smartphone with GPS and mobile data capability
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic knowledge of Charlotte metro area geography
- Strong time management and communication skills
