Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight using personal box truck (16-26ft) to designated locations
- Manage loading/unloading operations with proper equipment handling
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and mileage documentation
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate delivery status and delays to dispatch team
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries using provided GPS tools
- Coordinate with clients for smooth freight handoffs
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean MVR (3+ years)
- Current DOT medical certification
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability)
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
