Responsibilities
- Safely operate your box truck to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition
- Manage pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Optimize routes for efficiency while adhering to DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight with care using provided equipment
- Represent Express Logistics Solutions with professionalism in all client interactions
- Utilize our digital platform to select and confirm loads
- Report maintenance needs promptly to ensure vehicle reliability
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL or equivalent commercial license
- Minimum 2 years box truck or similar commercial driving experience
- Proof of commercial insurance (liability $1M, cargo $100K)
- Reliable box truck (24-26ft) in good mechanical condition
- Smartphone with GPS and reliable internet access
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs repeatedly
- Basic understanding of DOT regulations and logging requirements
