Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of freight using your owned box truck
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Handle loading/unloading operations with proper equipment use
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage customer interactions professionally at delivery points
- Report maintenance needs and ensure vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL or equivalent commercial driver's license
- Minimum 2 years box truck driving experience
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations
- Reliable box truck (26ft max) in good working condition
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability)
- Basic knowledge of Charlotte metro area and regional routes
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Smartphone with reliable GPS and communication apps
