Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local deliveries within Philadelphia and surrounding counties
- Load/unload freight using provided equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Coordinate with dispatch team for pickup/delivery scheduling
- Ensure secure cargo handling and on-time deliveries
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement (or equivalent state certification)
- Minimum 2 years box truck driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Own 24-26ft box truck in operational condition
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor maintenance
- Smartphone with GPS and data capabilities
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Pass background check and drug screening
