Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial delivery van to transport packages to customer doorsteps in a timely manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to delivery protocols and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Inspect and maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle to ensure a safe and positive environment for both you and the customer.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to minimize risk and ensure fleet safety.
- Manage your daily route efficiently, ensuring all stops are completed within the scheduled timeframe.
- Assist with loading and unloading packages, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and digital reporting accurately at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- Valid state-issued driver's license required.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, holidays, and early mornings.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
