Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery van to transport packages to residential and commercial addresses throughout Kansas City.
- Load and unload packages from the vehicle efficiently, ensuring safety and preventing damage.
- Deliver packages to customers with a focus on speed, accuracy, and exceptional customer service.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, traffic laws, and delivery route instructions.
- Handle package returns, address corrections, and customer inquiries professionally.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe working condition.
- Utilize handheld devices to track deliveries and manage inventory.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or equivalent state driver’s license.
- A clean driving record with no serious traffic violations or DUIs within the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Access to a reliable smartphone for route navigation and communication.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to work varying shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
