Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers on dedicated OTR routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and HOS compliance
- Deliver freight to 48 states with consistent scheduling
- Utilize telematics systems for route optimization
- Maintain accurate electronic logging and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Represent Durham Logistics Group with professionalism
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (training provided)
- Minimum 1 year driving experience preferred
- Clean MVR and no major violations in 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to travel 10-14 days consecutively
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and communication skills
