Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight across Ohio and surrounding states
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel
- Manage documentation including bills of lading and delivery confirmations
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Willingness to complete paid CDL training program (4-6 weeks)
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong commitment to safety and professionalism
- Flexibility for overnight trips (1-2 nights per week)
