Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local/regional deliveries in Tampa metro area
- Manage efficient route planning and on-time deliveries to commercial clients
- Maintain detailed logs of hours, mileage, and delivery documentation
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and coordinate routine maintenance
- Build client relationships through professional communication and service excellence
- Optimize delivery schedules to maximize earnings and personal flexibility
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and Tampa-area traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience or equivalent commercial driving
- Reliable box truck (24-26ft) with valid registration and insurance
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor on-road troubleshooting
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate loading equipment
- Smartphone with reliable GPS and internet connectivity
- Pass background check and drug screening
