Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local and regional freight delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Build relationships with clients for repeat business opportunities
- Manage timely pickups and deliveries within designated timeframes
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability)
- Reliable box truck (2015 or newer) with DOT inspection
- Strong knowledge of LA metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Smartphone with GPS and reliable communication
