Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks across designated routes with zero preventable incidents
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain detailed vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight efficiently while ensuring proper documentation
- Utilize electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation systems
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Complete all required paperwork and delivery documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL required (or willingness to obtain through our program)
- Minimum 21 years of age with clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance with transportation regulations
- Basic math and record-keeping skills for documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Willingness to spend extended periods on the road (2-3 weeks at a time)
- No DUI/DWI convictions in the past 5 years
