Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Safely operate dump trucks to transport materials, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to designated sites.
- Loading & Unloading: Assist in the loading and unloading of materials, ensuring weight distribution is balanced and secure.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in safe working condition and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Compliance: Maintain accurate logs, adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies at all times.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with dispatch, project managers, and site supervisors regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Site Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment at job sites, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
Qualifications
- Driver's License: Valid Driver's License required (CDL Class A or B preferred, but training provided if no experience).
- Experience: No prior experience required; however, a clean driving record is mandatory.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and adherence to traffic regulations.
- Communication Skills: Clear verbal communication skills.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work a full-time schedule.
